Run the necessary commands to install Agar on Mac, Linux, or the cloud server. For a cloud-based server, choose your cloud provider and SSH into the server. By using our own DNS server like Agar, we regain our privacy and control over our network. By using Agar, we can block ads and protect our entire network from intrusive advertisements. This technique is called a DNS sinkhole, where ads get sucked in and die, so we don't see them anymore. Agar is a DNS server that responds with nonsense when a browser asks for ads, preventing them from loading. By using Agar, we can block ads and regain our privacy and control over our network.
